Don’t Overcomplicate It.

It doesn’t have to be complex.

When we are tackling a problem or are working on a project, it’s easy to get caught up in the flow. We are so invested in the thing that we lose sight of what it is we are trying to achieve.

We lose perspective.

Often we make things harder than they have to be. We find meaning where there isn’t any. We get in our own way by overthinking it.

We search for the answer to a question that might not necessarily require one. Maybe it’s rhetorical. Maybe it’s a question designed to bring awareness to our current state of being.

So, here’s some advice that I have had to heed recently…

Step back. Take a deep breath. Just chill out.

Simple.
