Change is inherently scary.
It involves risk. It requires us to adopt something that is unknown. It requires tension.
We are chasing something, where we know that the process will be hard and where the outcome is not abundantly clear.
Because of this uncertainty, we sometimes don’t take action. We don’t know whether the effort will be worth the result. So, we procrastinate, we hesitate and we delay.
Yet, we need to move through the tension and fear to get to where we want to go.
So if you’re feeling this tension, maybe it implies that it will be worth the effort. Maybe it will lead us to where we want to go.
Maybe we just need to tug on that thread and endure what will be.
Because it might be worth it.
